Knowing firsthand some of the sacrifices that come with an occupation of service, I feel it’s important that we highlight the highs and lows of those who take an oath.
Whether it’s a police officer, flight attendant, firefighter, nurse, customer service representative, or anything in-between, people who provide services or products that meet the needs of others are a special breed altogether. It seems like such a rudimentary idea, but those who work in this space know the value of their work.
Marissa Abbott is dedicated to the community she serves, and it’s evident by her participation in events designed to grow the relationship between officers and the populations they serve. It’s literally everything from fun runs, to Girl Scout speaking opportunities, to breast cancer awareness campaigns, to marathons, and water skiing. If it involves being involved Marissa is probably there, and those are the types of people who make this podcast great!
