I don’t walk down the street telling people about my military service.
It’s not something that comes up very much in everyday life anymore. I don’t mean that people don’t care, I’m asked frequently about my past employment, and upon answering with military service, I’m always showered with appreciation.
The conversations just don’t go very deep. Usually, they remain very surface level and I don’t often get the chance to relive my military past. So when the opportunity presented itself to chat about my military service on a local television station, I absolutely jumped on the prospect of speaking about my experience and the past.
Whew, It was sure an experience. Never would I imagine I’d be on a television set. It just always seemed so far off and distant. The program will air on CFU channel 15 in the near future. I’m grateful for this moment and I hope it spurs you to chase your wildest dreams!
